Prior establishing their own office, OHLAB founders Paloma Hernaiz and Jaime Oliver gained 9 years of professional experience in architectural offices of various countries where they had the opportunity of pursuing projects of very diverse scales and requirements acquiring a valuable experience in different fields (residential, hotels, luxury retail, masterplans, sports facilities, etc.).

In Beiiing they worked at the Office of Metropolitan Architecture (OMA/Rem Koolhaas). In Shanghai they worked at SURV. In New York Paloma was working with G-tects where she collaborated with the office of Frank O. Gehry and Jaime worked at the offices of DNA and Hariri & Hariri. In Madrid Paloma collaborated with Estudio Lamela / Richard Rogers Partnership.
