The meeting, the result of a collaboration between Cosentino City and Open House Palma, proposes reflecting on how recent architecture is incorporated into the city’s heritage.
The discussion will address the tension between renovation and new construction, the responsibility of designing within an urban context with history, and the role played by materials—traditional, innovative, and sustainable—in creating a legacy that dialogues with the past while projecting the future.
Recognizing contemporary heritage also means valuing these construction decisions as an essential part of Palma’s identity for the coming generations.
Participants: Paloma Hernaiz (OHLAB), Ester Morro, Guillermo Reynés (GRAS Reynés), Alberto Sánchez (Feina Studio) y Jaime Oliver (OHLAB).
Moderator: Belén Martínez Gamero (Open House Palma).
